It has been over two weeks since Spurgeon Painting finished painting the inside of our home at 422 Nottingham Court, Petaluma. As you know, we selected your company without consulting any other company because of the excellent job you did painting the outside of our house a couple of years ago. Today, Susie and I have everything back in place and now have the opportunity to reflect on the finished product of you and your crew.

Where do I begin? The best starting point appears to be how we are feeling today. As Susie and I walk through our ‘new’ home, we are continually amazed at the attention to detail taken by Joe, Austin and Todd (plus other). Even with my ‘critical eye’ it is virtually impossible to find something that was not done to perfection. The little extras such as the molding Joe installed in our daughter’s bedroom, speak for the quality of their work and the pride in their workmanship.

The end result is only part of the job. We believe the process is equally important. Although the job took three weeks, which I believe was a little longer than anticipated; your crew did a fantastic job making it as non intrusive and disruptive as possible. Susie was home most days while the work was being done. She marveled at the ease of having all these ‘men’ moving throughout the house as she went about her normal activities. She was so impressed with their courtesy and professionalism she would often call me at work during the day to share little happenings with me. Then, when I came home at night she would tell me about all of the day’s experiences with the “guys”.

One of the best things for me was my reaction each day when I returned home from work. Everything was put away as best as possible, there were no loose items lying around and with the exception of the room being worked in, there was very little inconvenience to me. Then, the frosting on the cake was when all of the tarps were removed. We are amazed – no paint drops, no damage to furniture and not a single delicate nick knack was broken.

For us, the experience was better than we had expected, and the result was more than we could have hoped for. Thank you for making our beautiful home even more beautiful.
